Both the tilt and slide functions are controlled with one single lever, with multi-point locking mechanisms for better security.

While a typical sliding door has one or maybe two key locking points, which intruders should be very familiar with by now, these European-style tilt and slide doors have a series of mechanisms which make the frame quite difficult to be pried open.

Our tilt and slide doors are also an example of new technology that really works as, unlike sliding doors, they use compression seals that are very effective in dampening noise from the outside. Its configuration also us to fit our thicker noise insulated glass that improves its acoustic performance.

When combined with our Pilkington double glazed glass, Ecovue’s tilt slide doors can also achieve better thermal insulation than standard sliding windows and doors. This in effect saves you on your heating and cooling energy costs.
